Although I live in Minnesota, I've been going to Mazo Beach for years. Minnesota doesn't have any sanctioned nude beaches but it does have 3 non-landed clubs and 2 landed clubs. The landed clubs are "family oriented" which clearly excludes me as someone transsexual. I actually visited one of these resorts twice and I wore a bikini bottom each time. I had wanted to join. The people were friendly but appeared incredibly guarded-to me-as if they were protecting some sort of "Eden." I thought how sad, their 'Eden' has shame.
I've met nude people of all sexual persuasions and all degrees of gender, including other transsexuals like me. We're no different. Sure there is a sexual component to us as well but as true nudists we live and enjoy the lifestyle as others do.
I'll be at Mazo again this summer. Some days people are good, somedays not, but the sun always feels great.

Jen - Let me try to answer both your questions here: AuroraGardens welcomes everyone regardless of sex or sexual orientation. It is one of the few singles friendly clubs in Wisconsin. Hope to be seeing you there. - As for lifestyle M&Gs, there have been several held there over the last several years, and all are welcome. M&Gs can be scheduled anytime of the year; However, if you want to have open sexual activity, the parties have to be held off the nude season.
